Restauranteur and Cordon Bleu graduate Bruce Lim challenges our studio with the creation of a concept/brand for a San Francisco + Philippines restaurant experience. Bringing together the gastronomic roots of two cultures that have interacted in the Bay Area for as long as we can remember proved to be a walk in the park for the accomplished Chef. To see him sit at our studio and trust us with the concept creation, design and the build was a task as generous as his handshake.
Staying away from SF cliche was a prime wish from everyone at the table. A wish to bring street culture and the history of Bruce's upbringing there was the focus. Industrial Designer David Gutierrez sets off on the creation of a new line of furniture under the tutelage and direction of Eneri Abillar, Creative Director and Partner of Atalyer.
