Mexican Embassy: Bicentennial Celebration Posters

Our studio enjoys brand exercises outside of the usual commercial context. An opening in the diplomatic circle led our team to develop the imagery and collateral material for the 200th Anniversary of the Mexican Independence. Not anything like a walk in the park, as some might think. 

Our client, Ambassador Tomas Calvillo-Unna is a learned historian and was involved in the selection of each and every image. We can therefore assure complete adherence to history. 
Such was the response from the Mexican residents in the Philippines that the Ambassador presented the posters to President Felipe Calderon himself who allegedly keeps a framed copy near his vestibule in the Presidential Residence of Los Pinos. We were not allowed to post that image, unfortunately.
